Project Information

The objective of the project was to raise funds for Lady Ridgeway Hospital to help improve its services and resources for children in need of medical care. The project also aimed to bring the community together through a fun and engaging basketball tournament, encouraging teamwork and social responsibility. By organizing the event, the goal was to raise awareness about the hospital’s needs, inspire people to donate, and empower the youth involved in organizing and participating in the event.

The identified community need is to support and enhance the resources of Lady Ridgeway Hospital, which serves as a critical healthcare facility for children. The hospital may face challenges such as limited medical equipment, insufficient funding for essential programs, or inadequate facilities to meet the growing demands of pediatric care. Addressing this need ensures that children in the community have access to quality healthcare, which is vital for their overall well-being and development.

The project involved organizing a basketball tournament as a fundraiser to support Lady Ridgeway Hospital, a key healthcare provider for children in the community.
